About the CompanyLoad-Master Fabricating Inc. is a Missouri-based corporation founded in January 2002 under the sole guidance of Erick S. Charboneau. Manufacturing operations revolve around, but are not limited to custom ordered steel trailers. Designs include utilities, car haulers, equipment trailers, pintle hitches and flatbed goosenecks. Units are constructed with the use of mig welders and spray painted before being wired, installed with lights and floored. Upon completion, units are shipped primarily to distributors across the Midwest with a small percentage to northern and coastal states. In addition to trailer manufacturing, Load-Master offers a variety of trailer parts such as brake controllers, hitch balls and lights as well as steel for an individual's own fabricating needs. Customer safety and satisfaction are always our top priority. A Little HistoryErick Charboneau began manufacturing trailers in his family-owned and operated business in March 1993, as a division of Charboneau Enterprises Inc., along with Econo-Recut and Big Bull Livestock Equipment. Under the leadership of Erick's father, Calvin Charboneau, production rapidly increased and a dealer network was developed. The business interests were expanding from the agricultural markets to commercial applications. In 2002, six years after Calvin's death, Erick took Load-Master to the next level. Purchasing the business from the family's holdings and starting his corporation with complete focus on the trailer industry. Along with a few of his original staff and some eager newcomers, Load-Master is a prominent name in the Midwest. Sales and production have shown steady improvements. His associations with former dealers are strong and many new dealers have been added to the network since the corporation's inception. Though he has faced the challenges of an unstable steel market and rising lumber costs to name a few, his reputation for quality workmanship continues to shine through. | |||||||||||||
