Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I buy direct from the manufacturer instead of through a distributor?
A. Yes, but it will create inconveniences for you.  The only cost difference between purchasing direct or through a distributor is freight.  A distributor incurs less freight per trailer by purchasing full loads as opposed to one trailer.  In addition, distributors carry inventory and have standing orders in production; this decreases your wait time.

Q. What are my limits to custom requests?
A. Custom requests must be legal and safe.  Load-Master manufactures based on Missouri laws and regulations.  We make every effort to educate ourselves on the requirements of other states but ultimately it is the customer's responsibility to insure the options they request are legal at their location.

Q. What colors are available?
A. Load-Master uses a high-gloss, high-impact industrial enamel in black, red, JD green, Cat yellow, charcoal gray, forest green and dark blue.  White is available at an additional charge and is not warranted.  Other shades may be available, ask your distributor when placing your order.

Q. Can I purchase used tires and/or wheels?
A. No.  In the state of Missouri, it is illegal for a manufacturer to provide used tires and wheels.  The customers may provide their own tires and wheels; otherwise we sell only new.

Q. How long will it take to receive my trailer?
A. Customer orders take approximately 4 to 6 weeks depending on the time of year.  Most distributors carry inventory that is ready for immediate pick up.

Q. What if I need service or repairs?
A. All Load-Master trailers carry a one-year warranty and are covered under product liability insurance.  (See our Warranty page for details.)  Our distributors are capable of servicing and/or repairing your trailer.  Trailers are required to be returned to the plant for major repairs.

Q. Can I become a Load-Master dealer/distributor?
A, Absolutely!  New dealers/distributors are always welcomed.  If you are an active licensed dealer in your home state, feel free to contact our office for additional information.  We require low minimum inventories and territories are based on population and sales potential.
